Corridor Director Job Description

POSITION GUIDE FOR CORRIDOR DIRECTOR OF ABMOPAD

DUTIES:

The duties of a Corridor Director shall be to act as a liaison between the AMBOPAD Board of Managers and a key layman in each association within his assigned corridor. He shall, in conjunction with each of the association key laymen, develop and maintain a mailing list of physical addresses and telephone numbers, and where applicable, email addresses. He shall ensure that the activities sponsored, or supported by ABMOPAD are publicized in his assigned corridor. He shall ensure that the ABMOPAD Board of Managers is informed of laymen activities in his assigned corridor.

SELECTION:

The corridor directors shall be selected from active members of ABMOPAD, or the American Baptist Men of Philadelphia by the ABMOPAD Nominating Committee for election at the Annual Retreat of ABMOPAD. Such selection should be made on the advice of ABCOPAD Executive and Regional Ministers, Philadelphia Executive Minister, Association Moderators, Members of the ABMOPAD Board of Managers, or other active laymen of the regions.
